i'm going to start doing gigs soon, but currently i only have this awful sounding 100-150ish watt amp.
my question is whether the bad tone is from the amp itself, or the head? i can't get good sounding mids, growl is nonexistant, etc.
i don't know whether to upgrade the amp or the head, or what to do... i want a growly tone. would getting a better amp head fix this problem?
