In order to pay for said behemoth, he was selling his impeccably maintained, never-gigged, recently retubed Fender Blues Junior, which looks and sounds better than any I've played at Guitar Center.
I now own all the tube power and tone I'll be needing for several years, and I only paid $260. That leaves plenty of money for a Weber Mini Mass 25W attenuator and some kind of mixer so I can listen in on headphones. The only sad part is I now have to get this baby back to school in Boston. He recommended removing the tubes and stuffing the cavity with bubblewrap. Any other tips for safely shipping my new amp?
