well...I have been real conservative with my spending habits lately...trying to save my money. A buddy called and wanted to know if I would be interested in his 2 yr old Peavey Classic 30... twead, like new condition with all new tubes... my first thought was that my son was looking for a good amp, so I took it home to try out for a week. I decided to buy it and keep it for myself (was that wrong?)....

Anyway, I paid him $300 for it. plus he through in an amp stand.

I love how easy it is to dial in the tone. Very nice sound!!!

Did I pay too much for it? I think I'm happy with it....

Nice amp and price!

Did your son not like it for some reason? Or did you not even give him a chance?

Score! I'd have snapped it up at that price!

I bought one new. Paid $650. Great amp by the way. You got a good price. 8)

Thanks for the feedback... yah, I'm loving the amp!

And no, the kid never got a chance to play it (didn't even know I was initially considering it for him)... was that wrong?
