I have no idea how to do this. How would i run my guitar through both a peavey 5150 combo amplifier and a sunn half stack at the same time? While retaining control over both equalizers?
thanks for any suggestions you have.

Get yourself an A/B/Y pedal or basic splitter and just connect the guitar through the pedal or splitter into both inputs of the amps.

I was thinking about asking this exact question last night.

I might try it out sometime.

As Arjen says, get an A/B/Y pedal (not an A/B). This will give you the ability to have either one of the amps or both at the same time.
An A/B will only give you the choice of one or the other.

I started with nothing - and I've still got most of it left.
