A friend of a friend is selling a "Sunn Beta lead head and cabinet." From my google searches prices and opinions about these amps seem to be all over the place, and apparently they haven't been made in a while.
Anybody have opinions on these things, as well as what a reasonable price would be? Also, is the age going to be a factor when it comes to things like parts?

The value would depend on the components (i.e. what speakers are in the amp?) condition (i.e. does the amp work? does it sound good?), and what you plan to do with the amp.
Most solid state amps are not collectible, which really lowers the price (unless some famous artist uses it). Most of the reviews I've read state that the clean sound is awesome, which means this could be a nice find.
Prices range from about $100 to $300 with an average of $225 .
