Hi,
I am looking into getting an amp in the future (next year hopefully) and i was wondering what everyone uses/recommends?
I am thinking of something not too big but not a practice amp (i already have an old peavey rage  ).
thanks
I use this:

It: (1) sounds great, (2) Class A tube combo amp, (3) reasonably priced, and (4) is loud enough for most applications, and can be miked if you are playing a larger room (more than emough for the home or playing a small room)
I'm saving up for a fender Blues Jr. It runs about $399.
I bought an Epiphone Valve Junior combo that I love. It's basic: no tone controls, no reverb, just a volume knob, but I found that when I plug my strat copy in, i've got a great tone with just an Electro Harmonix Holy Grail reverb in between the guitar and amp. It's not that expensive either. It's only 5 watts but that is MUCH louder than I thought (I can't crank it when everyone is home or it is too loud), it is definitely more of a bluesier sounding amp though.

the Epi valve is a cool amp. I have a Epi Valve head (same amp) and have jamed with a band with no problems. Keeps up with the drums also.

Interesting. First time I head about that amp. After reading most of the reviews and hearing some sound clips I'd say it can rival the Blues Junior.

A lot of people say a lot of great things about that amp.
