Hi all,

My name's Pete, just got an acoustic guitar for xmas (thanks mum and dad), and sm trying to teach myself, with reasonable success. I'm 22 (23 in a couple of weeks), and i am currently living in Wellington, the capital city of New Zealand, which is the little counry down next to Australia for those of you that don't know. So far so good on the ol' guitar, and just want to say the so far guitarnoise has proved to be an excellent resource!

Welcome to GN, Pete.

And i know Wellington and NZ. Your place is beautiful as i have seen the making of 'Lord of the Rings' on DvD.

I have always wanted to visit NZ and see the natural landscapes there (Can't say about the adventure games ). Wish i could meet Peter Jackson for a while...

Best of luck for your guitar learning. There is copious amount of content on guitarnoise beginners page by dhodge and others. Check it out and post your questions often.
