Ello and Good Evening!
Ello and Good evening!
I hale from Oklahoma and recently spoke to my doc about quiting smoking. She said i should find a new hobby that can occupy my mind and time to help me quit. Not sure I follow the logic, but hey, sounded like a great excuse to learn to play guitar! I've always wanted to learn anyhow. So I picked up as Oscar Schmidt OE30 on ebay and started lookin for resources. I've already made a set of flash cards based on the Rosetta stone and timing is everything articles so I can learn to read music (again!).
Some of my favorite guitar sounds come from Pink Floyd, SRV, and BB King. Some of my other hobbies include fire performance (ala homeofpoi.com) and teaching myself everything I don't know.
Looking forward the journey and hope to make a few new friends along the way!

I've had a lot of sobering thoughts in my time.
It was them that turned me to drink.
