My name is Jim, I live in Illinois. I've been playing guitar (off and on) for about the last 30 years. My favorite bands include the Rolling Stones (yes, Keith Richards is my favorite guitarist), Steppenwolf (original Wolf guitarist, Michael Monarch is also a favorite of mine. He's an unsung legend in my book), Bad Company (Mick Ralphs is another guitarist I love to listen to), I could go on....

I'm glad I found this forum and I plan to visit it often. I'll happily share my limited knowledge with other guitarists and hope to learn from others who post here as well.
