Hello Everyone!

Happy New Year! I am Will Boggs. I wind pickups for a living and I am a married father of 2 wonderful little girls. I am not here to pimp my products but just here to enjoy conversations of music related stuff. I am a gear freak.

I like to build guitars from time to time but not for resale. Just for personal use and to perfect my hobby.

I love all kinds of stuff, including other pickups from other winders and I have no problem telling you who they are. I would gladly answer questions about wiring and tech stuff, although I will be the first to say that I am not some guitar guru. I do spend some time in another forum on the net about PRS guitars.

I have a few favorate guitars but, I never really fall in love with just one. I love tube amps but see that modeling amps do have a place in the world. They are great for recording direct.

My current main guitars are a PRS McCarty Rosewood, 03 Les Paul Standard, USA Fender Tele, A Homemade Strat based on the 50's body design. I am also playing a custom made guitar by a young 23 year old Lutheir that blows me away. It's a Double Cut design guitar. Figuired Mahogany Body/Flame Maple Top with a very sweeeeet all Rosewood neck! It is becoming my sweetheart! Just don't tell me wife! LOL! the guy who made it is a Mike Marcovis. He's not really building for a living yet but remember that name. Very Sweeet Guitar!

I may not be here a lot, more late in the evening. My day gig is pretty demanding as my new 1 month old daughter. But I am really enjoying reading everyones posts.

Thanks and everyone have a great 07!

Will

Welcome, Will! I hope you become a regular contributor, since I am sure to have technical questions about pickups, from time to time!

See you round the boards.

I've had a lot of sobering thoughts in my time.
It was them that turned me to drink.
