Hello, Im 45 years old and new to the guitar, about 4 months now. Its hard to teach and old dog new tricks but I hope to learn a few here. 45 years of not using that left hand for anything good is sure tough on the guitar learning.
Have a good day!

Hey TL.
You're younger than I . . . when I started.
I retired about 2 years ago and took up guitaring about 18 months ago.

Hi, welcome to GN. Great to see another Louisiana Cajun Country resident here on the forums! I live over in the Lake Charles area, and I, too, took up guitar in my mid-40's, so don't feel alone in that. That was 5 years ago. Come a long way and still got a long way to go.
Hope to see you around more here on the forums.
Regards,
Mike
