Well im not THAT new to guitar...
i played classical when i was 6... that only lasted for like 3 months
One day
My friends dad took him to get a new guitar and he got a fender strat and right before we left his dad said "hey Mike, You wanna try out a guitar"
I said "sure"
An epiphone les paul goldtop caught my eye
I tried it out and was amazed
Then i was like WHOA
Because
I had turned around to look at his dad and he had the same kind of guitar and had his credit card out and had a line 6 spider with it too
walked up to me, handed me the guitar and amp some cables and a hardshell case
and said
"your ready to rock"
I was amazed he spent $700 on me and i wasnt even related to him
I still play that guitar to this day
Only been playing it since feburary
Sadly his dad died of cancer
To thank him and honor his memory my friend and I played his favorite song at his funeral on guitar
