Big hello :D , found the site recently and have learned loads by reading the forums, have taken lots of your advice already (bought books recommended by some of you, and visited sites that links were provided for) but best of all I have renewed motivation for learning - been trying to learn for a few months now and still can't play anything! so just want to say hi and thanks for providing such good info and opinions, much appreciated!

Hi Jenny :D

You sound very enthusiastic!
Stick with it.
It's a difficult journey, though well worth it :D

Hope you are enjoying that beautiful Irish Spring.

thanks folks, yes ken, having a typical irish spring, we've had a few weeks of the best summer weather we've ever seen, followed this morning by hailstones so heavy you can't put a foot outside the door.. (sigh) at least when the weathers bad its easier to stay indoors and practice.. all that good weather was far too distracting!
