New Novice Player

Hi all! I'm a 45 year old newbie! I have always wanted to learn to play (even took lessons very briefly as a kid, before a moving company destroyed my guitar). 11 months ago, I learned that a company I work for had given me an opportunity to get a prize, and a Fender Starcaster Strat was one of the options, so I too the opportunity to start! Fender has since replaced the (faulty) Starcaster with a Squier Bullet, and I'm off! I've even played in public multiple times already, though I have a LONG way to go. What a fun experience!
