You will find that you are not the only one your age (or older) here.
And you will also find that there are a lot of older beginners around here.
And you may notice that you have the same problems as some of the teenagers (when was the last time you could say that! :lol: )
One advantage you have over some, is that you probably already have a pretty good understanding and feel for rhythm, from your percussion background.
