Hi! Just joined GN today and am impressed by the depth and variety of the topics that are listed on the site. I've been playing for about 30 years (yikes!) but took a few years off following the birth of my daughter. Now, 4 years later and finally getting more than 4 hours of sleep each night, I've brought out my '81 Strat and am getting my chops up to speed again. Looking forward to learning new skills and meeting new friends as I start my musical journey again.

I'm located in central MA (about 3 hours from my beloved Yankees)

Hi, welcome!

Great little narrative about you & family. :D

New guitars are fine, but I love it when an old guitar comes out of the woodwork.

Like the one we started on, our very first, or perhaps the best for us till then, the one we wanted. 8)
