Hey everyone. I'm 59 years old and a veteran guitar player who started playing at age 7. I've been in several bands through the years including classic rock bands, country bands, wedding bands and top 40 bands. I'm currently playing with an Elvis tribute band based out of Newark, Delaware and we've traveled from New Jersey to Phoenix, Arizona. This is the most fun I've ever had playing guitar. I love the blues and have been influenced by Eric Clapton, B.B. King and Roy Buchanan. My gear consists of:
Guitars-electric
Ernie Ball Musicman Axis Supersport w/ custom Dimarzio HB's
1978 Ibanez PF200 (Les Paul copy)
1955 Les Paul Jr. (inherited from my father)
Guitars-accoustic
Tacamini electric accoustic w/ "cool tube" electronics
1974 Ibanez 12 string
Amp- Peavey 112 EFX
Pedalboard consists of:
Boss TU-2 stomp tuner
Boss OD-3 Overdrive
Boss Blues Driver
Boss DS-1
Boss Super Chorus
Boss DD-3 Delay
I find that I'm still learning every day and that's why I joined the forum. Also, I'd be happy to help out anyone that I can.
Welcome aboard! An Elvis tribute band sounds cool. 8)
