Thought I'd introduce myself since I just signed up. 8)
I'm Amy and I've been playing music practically since I could walk. I took some guitar lessons for a very short while when I was a kid, but never really took to it back then. A few months ago I started playing around with my daughter's $40 guitar from Target and got hooked again.
I just bought a used Martin 000X1 a couple days ago as a birthday present to myself and haven't been able to put it down since. It's a super nice sounding guitar for the price. Since then, I've been working through the lessons on this site and pretty much playing every spare minute I have.
I'm really interested in learning to play fingerstyle and bluegrass right now, so I'll probably be hanging around here reading through those posts a bit.
