I am 67 years old and just decided to try to learn to play a few months ago. Wanted to do this all my life but well, life just kept getting in the way. I currently have a Seagull S6 Acoustic an and '96 USA Strat. Don't really care much for the electric sound and I am currently in the market for a nylon string acoustic.
I can play all of the major chords, all of the minor and 7th chords, but barre chords are beyond me right now, but I am working on it.
I really would like to learn to finger pick and I am taking lessons from a guy that is helping me with that.
I like all kinds of music EXCEPT metal and RAP.
Glad to have found this forum. I am sure it will help me a lot.
