How can a company that is not even similar shut down a good site that teaches Mandolin, Guitar, etc. lessons? Just makes no sence to me.
My wife (learning the Mandolin) is so disappointed, and I am also.
Although I've never seen that particular website before, seems a shame they have to shut down just because another site with a similar name and more clout and more money says so....
I may be over simplifying things here, but why couldn't they just change the domain name to something similar but different - like (note the two u's) musicmuuse, for example - and notify the members accordingly?

I think the declining revenue and lower traffic was the deciding factor to no get a new domain name in my opinion. It seemed like a cool site, I went to check it out, and those two things kind of stuck out to me. The cease order I think was just the final nail maybe?
