My daughter just went to Camp Jam in Ct-I loved it! Wish i had this when i was a kid-they made the local news paper :D
(She is the Drummer and only girl in the band)
They had a week long of lessons and learning to be a band and then they played Enter Sandman in the friday night concert.

Kewl. Looks like a lot of fun. Beats the heck out of video games. She's in the first picture on that link. Looks like she's having a blast.

I wish I was a kid in today's world.

Teamwork- A few harmless flakes working together can unleash an avalanche of destruction.
I think that camp was a great idea-a local guitar shop may have an adult guitar building camp in the fall. You build a "strat" from a kit and learn about setups and taking care of the guitar. i hope it works out-i want to go :D He ran it for the summer for kids and had a good response to it.
Great to see kids that age making music together and having a blast. Kudos to you for encouraging her!
