What I want to know is, what the heck is that stuff on Axl's head!

Seriously though, as long as it's taken to make this CD, it better be the best thing since Sgt. Pepper's! :P

Who is playing lead guitar? If its not Slash then its not G&R IMO. Their are much better guitar players, but he and Axel just had that perfect chemistry.

Presumably a mix of Buckethead and Bumblefoot - and I heard tell that Brian May and a few others guested on some tracks.

Slash says he's working on a solo project. That might be good.

A :-)

Buckethead? That ought to be a strange combination. Bucket head is about as strange as it gets  But you never know what works till you hear it :D

Buckethead was actually in Guns N Roses for awhile. You can see some clips on youtube.

The article says their last album came out in 1993. Is that correct? Has it been that long? My God. I swear that it seems like yesterday that I was so pumped up about their debut album. (That was one helluva debut album) At the same time, it feels like they've put out so much music over the years. But when I think about it...they don't really have a large collection of music. It never occured to me that they've only put out a handful of alblums.

Teamwork- A few harmless flakes working together can unleash an avalanche of destruction.

There are a couple of Snakepit albums - Slash's post GNR project - and a couple of Velvet Revolver albums, and Duff did some work with Loaded who have an album out now. Matt went off somewhere and is now part of Velvet Revolver, and I Can't recall what Izzy or Steven Adler have done over the past few years. So there's been some activity from the old members, and GNR have played a couple of festivals over the last couple of years (including Download in the UK) but no new recorded material from Axl himself.

My girlfriend says the lead single is getting UK airplay. She also says it could be anybody and even sounds like Trivium in places..

I don't know, when Buckethead was kicked out the press release was so bitter and nasty that I'm not sure if G&R and Buckethead will work together anymore.

Well, being a great fan of the bucket of Buckethead, I would say that its only better he doesn't work with GNR.
