June 23 Bob Dylan and Willie Nelson @ Wachonah Park Pittsfield MA
This concert is happening at a historic minor league baseball park
right in the middle of the neighborhood where I grew up. About 2 miles from my present home. At 7,500 tickets it is sure to be a sellout but I,ve managed to secure tickets. I'm sure I'll come up with some kind of review
We don't often get acts of this caliber here so everybody is very excited.

They toured minor league parks last summer. The show was fantastic! It instantly went on the "my favorite concerts" list. I've never really listened to Willie, but somehow I knew the words to almost every song he played. And Bob rocked! The only disappointment was that he stayed behind the keyboard the whole show and never played the guitar. Still amazing though.
I think my favorite moment was when Willie and Bob played together. They sang I Shall Be Released and there was a section where Bob would sing a line and then Willie would repeat it. As usual Bob sorta mumbled his lines, so it felt almost like Willie was acting as his interpreter.
Anyhow, moral of the story is...great show! You'll have a blast!

Wow....you lucky man you!!!!! Wonder if we can get them to come to England......

Friends of mine who follow Dylan around recently saw him in Chicago and reported that even for Dylan it was an incredible show. The band is really cooking.
Well we all shine on--like the moon and the stars and the sun.

Unless something serious goes wrong, I'm going to see Dylan live in November (tickets are "in the post").
If I can replan my holiday, I'm also going to see Keith Urban, mid October.
I started with nothing - and I've still got most of it left.
Did you know that the word "gullible" is not in any dictionary?

My neighbour went to see Dylan last night (July 20th, 2005) in Vancouver. He plays three nights here. And I couldn't get tickets, sold out for three nights. She paid CDN$225.00 for two tickets.
I saw him on tour many years ago with Tom Petty, but the venue was so bad that I didn't realize that Petty and Dylan were trading songs until the middle of the show (the stadium sucks for all bands, so it wasn't Dylan's fault).
Apparently he was in top form for this part of the tour. So I'm kicking myself for not keeping abreast of the who's coming to town.
klim,
Sorry you won't get to see Dylan this time out.
The musicianship of all the performers on this tour is superior including
The Greencards a Bluegrass group.
I know what you mean about keeping abreast I missed a free
Little Feat show yesterday because I found out too late to change
my previous plans.

Now I'm really kicking myself. My wife is really into Bluegrass and New Country these days.
I find myself liking Bluegrass and some Country now, wouldn't have believe it 25 years ago.
However on Sunday evening we had a block party down the road and a band played that has a Bluegrass, Country Rockabilly style to it. They even sang a Dylan tune.
Talking to my neighbours that night, they said that Dylan was fantastic. He came out, started into the show, played about twenty plus tunes, came back out did a two tune encore and mumbled the players name and pointed to some guy in the audience and then left. Apparently he played mostly Harmonica and Keyboards that night.
I thinking of taking the family to see Rain (A Beatles Tribute Band). Ever since I bought the Yellow Submarine, my kids are really into the Band.
