Gives me an excuse to post a pic of the Strat DG played back in '99 when he was MCCartney's partner in music at Sir Paul's triumphant return to the Cavern - first time he'd played there for 35 years!
Though I'm very much a Telecaster player these days, that's one guitar I wouldn't mind getting my hands on. If only it had a maple fretboard......sigh..........
Seriously though, whenever I see a white Strat these days, I think "Gilmour" and not "Hendrix".....possibly because DG played it the right way up?

I have always liked his sound. that guitar looks great. I want my Fenders to have maple necks. every time.
I don't own a strat. If I do buy one, it would be this one. Most likely will not be able to afford the relic but the NOS would be a nice addition to the family.
Now, if they would only duplicate his fingers and sell them online....

my sources hint at around $4,000.00. the models may differ around $500.00 or so.
