Hi - dunno if anyone remembers me here anymore. It's been a while since I was around :)

Anyway, taking the liberty of dropping in for some promotion for an upcoming tour with my band. Hope this is ok?

'Flea Market' is playing bluegrass inspired music with lots of instruments. We have among others banjo, mandolin, guitar, fiddle, upright bass and trombone. We like to call it Bluegrass Punk :)

We play originals with lyrics in Norwegian and English.

These are the shows we are doing
August 5 - NYC, NY - Banjo Jim's
August 6 - Brooklyn, NY - Hank's Saloon
August 7 - Baltimore, MD - Free Farm
August 8 - Philadelphia, PA - The Fire
August 9 - Washington, DC - Black Cat
August 10 - Wilmington, DE - Mojo 13
August 11 - Chapel Hill, NC - The Cave
August 12 - Richmond, VA - The Camel
August 13 - Philadelphia, PA - Raven Lounge
August 14 - Baltimore, MD - Backyard Bash

Check out http://www.facebook.com/fleamarketband for more info.

We have a live CD in print. But some earlier rudimentary takes can be found at http://www.myspace.com/fleamarketband

Would be awesome to see some people there! I am pretty sure most of the shows have free entrance - so I guess it won't help if I promise you free tickets :)

Thanks for reading!

If we don't have a show that night, I'll see you in Richmond!

Playing guitar and never playing for others is like studying medicine and never working in a clinic.

Yup, I remember you. Long time, no chat. I hope all is well.

Chapel Hill is close. You never know.....

I'll look up the venue and look at the schedule. I'll let you know if I can make it. that'd be cool. 8)

Man, I'm bummed. We'll be traveling up to Charlottesville. Otherwise the CH show would have been perfect.

Still a possibility, though. I'll talk to her when she get back from chit-chat with a neighbor lady in an hur.
