As noted in the GN Newsletter, our blues band has a gig in at the Spence/Remedy Cafe West Chester PA this Saturday Sept 4th 9p-ish to past 1a. http://www.cruisin4abluesin.com
It would be great to see someone, anyone, from GN there.
Gig report will follow.
Well that was fun! Labor Day weekend is strange around here, as most people head to the shore. Even so, we earned a small bonus over the agreed upon fee, and the patrons seemed to be having fun. We played 3 full sets, and about 80% of them we played pretty well. A few were excellent, and a few were poorly executed. We actually had to restart one song as we all came out of the intro in different spots. Voodoo Chile and Hey Joe tend to get lost in solo-land, but we kept it together and had strong endings for both. We took some videos, but mostly for our own feedback. Unlikely anything will get posted.
