Vic, I wish I could be there to help you. We have had several instances of this at work lately. It just kills me inside. Please feel a big cyber arm around you giving you a hug.

It's a long way to the top if you want to rock n roll!
My prayers and best wishes are headed that way for you both, Vic.
Please keep us posted as you can.
Bluejay, your prayer(s) were tear jerkers. My best to you as well.
Jim
I've added my prayers to those already sent up.
I hope that you can find some quiet rest for yourself.
My best to everyone.
Jack
Thanks again, everyone, for your kind thoughts and wishes.
No change today - Marilyn's on a lower level of sedation, when they tried to bring her around this afternoon, she became distressed again - high BP, v.high heart rate. Tomorrow (Tuesday) they're going to do a trachaeotomy, they reckon that might help when they try to bring her back to full consciousness. Consultation with Neurologist has been postponed for now until she regains consciousness. They're going to reduce sedation again tomorrow morning, so we'll find out more then, hopefully.
Vic.

Of course I have more than a few prayers to spare.
I'm sending some out for you and Marilyn.
John
Our best wishes for a full recovery.
Vic, tomorrow she will start to get better.
Please, keep us informed.
Prayers and wishes for a speedy & full recovery. My heart goes out to you and yours...
Sorry to hear, I'll send good vibes that way!!
In Space, no one can hear me sing!
Update....
Marilyn's still on the ventilator/respirator, although she's had a trachaeotomy so now the tubes are in her throat rather than her mouth. Had a lumbar puncture today, results should be ready tomorrow (Friday.) Still sedated, although the neurologist has seen her today and wants to try to bring her round again tomorrow. Trouble is, every time they decrease the sedation an she starts to wake up, she gets very distressed and goes into seizures, her heart rate goes sky-high and her blood pressure the same. We've been told it could take a while.....

Doctors always find the way. I'll be waiting for those results.
Now, try to rest a little bit.
Vic, you and Marilyn are still in my thoughts and prayers. It sounds like she's in good hands, if that is any comfort.
Jim
You are both in my thoughts and prayers Vic.
... still on it, praying and looking for a good weekend for you both and all the best with a recovery for Marilyn. God bless.
