Hello Friends,

I hope you are doing well.

Today, 15th August, is the Indian Independence Day. Now we have been free for the last 63 years and I personally feel that India has progressed far in all aspects be it social, economical or political.

I request you to wish India a very good luck in her future and continue you untiring support towards us! :D

Regards and Thanks,

Rahul

Happy Independence Day, Rahul. I've love to visit your country one day; my sister has had the good fortune to.
Is this the festivity/event that gets celebrated with all the fireworks?

"Born Free as free as the wind blows, as free as the grass grows......"

Still there is oppression ....of women, children, the vulnerable.
Poverty should not be a crime but it is.

Hunger should be a crime.
Politicians should not be paid for the first five years in office. Let them earn our trust.

Don't look at all white Anglos as your colonizers. Don't blame children for the past.
Children only learn hate from adults. They are born innocent.

Happy Festivities.

Portamento - The ability to move from a wrong note to the right one without anyone noticing the original mistake.
Harmonics - The buzzing sound that string instruments make.
Impromptu - A carefully worked out composition.

Good Luck!

I'm all for a Country that makes her way forward with congeniality, effort, honesty and integrity and a solid work ethic.

My sister & bro-in-law were in Bangalore a month ago, impressed with the friendly reception, health care, tourism and technology. 8)

I have tried in my way to be free.

Ooops! Didn't mean to kill the thread. Thought of all kinds of inappropriate things like "Did you have to kill English people too?"

Disclaimer: To all my dear English friends here. My family dates back to the Revolutionary war in America. I am one of you, you are my people. My kin. My family. My brothers and sisters I am so proud to say! You know, we had a Civil War here that our southern folks know as The War of Northern Agression. Do you folks see the Revolutionary War as The War of Colonial Agression? Just curious.
