As I said in another post, my girlfriend gave me an uke as a birthday present. I am a little busy this week and I practically can not play. It sounds very good and surprisingly loud!

It is an Ashbury CK-C. I guess CK stands for Curly Koa and C is for Concert, the size. Nice and funny.

It is not an usual instrument here, although some people is buying them just for decorative purposes. Surely I will ask some issues in the beginners forum.

More pictures.

Wow!
Gorgeous, Nuno, congrats.
You've got 4 strings covered now. 8)

Lots of great looking arrangements here:

Example...Great Mamas and Papas song. It's the one that always comes to mind when I think of a uke:

Enjoy!

It's very cool, it's my little baby.

It's funny, and I must to change some things in my brain. The high, fourth string changes all. For example, surely you all know it but you can play downstrokes and upstrokes in chord melody songs and you will keep the higher note at the end.

I'm having some problems when I change some chords, mainly when it implies to move the fretting hand. Then, I need to use my strumming hand, else the headstock goes down. I guess I must practice.

Thanks Joe!

I am playing it much more than the guitars these days. I was trying some fingerstyle. It sounds well!
