Last year I was contacted out of the blue by the DuPage Symphony Orchestra. We've been talking since then, and today I was named to their board of directors.

Now in their 60th season, they have twice been named the Illinois Community Orchestra of the Year. Their next concert, which will include works by Mozart, Brahms and Dvorak is Saturday February 8th.

My role on the board is still evolving, but it looks like I'll be responsible for some of their long-range planning. I'm looking forward to the challenge.

Congratulations!

They certainly picked the best possible candidate for the position! You'll be great.

Looking forward to hearing how things are going (and to how you manage to juggle all the stuff you do!).

Peace

Congratulations, Tom!

It is a great position and I agree with David: they selected the best possible candidate.

BTW, it looks like a nice concert, it is not so usual to listen Mozart and Dvorak in the same concert.
