... I started my new job today; they were so desperate for someone to sort out their network they offered to let me start now, even though it means they have to pay me for the 6 weeks of summer that there is no school (so I don't work :D )
Needless to say: I'm happy :D :D :D
Plus, I discovered a little suprise hidden away in a (very untidy) storage cupboard - two electric guitars that connect straight to the PC (very much like the I-Axe http://www.iwantoneofthose.com/i-axe-guitar/index.html ) which they bought for "music lesson" purposes but have just never used. Anyway, I offered to set it all up (as that's my job  ) and of course, some extensive testing was in order to make sure it worked OK. :D :D :D Just wish I could have brought one home :(
Oh, well I guess this post WAS somewhat guitar-related after al.

Congrats, Pete! Let me know how those USB guitars work. I might be able to talk my boss into letting me bring one to work to play on my lunch break.
