For those of you that may remember that song, you may also remember the star of that song Max. Sadly Max passed away today after developing a tumor.
Still Max was 14 years old and was much loved during his live and I would like to think he leaves us with good karma.
And he got a song in his honor :D

cheers

Paul

My sympathies, Paul. I also know what you're going through, having lost a much-loved old dog a couple of years ago.

Sorry for your loss, Paul. We lost our family dog a little over a year ago and it still causes me great pain at times. My kids were eager to get another dog, and my wife and I not so much. I wasn't ready to do that all over again. The kids recently came hope with not one, but two puppies. They are very sweet in their own way, but they can never begin to replace our Sassy girl.

May Max rest in peace.

Regards,
Jim-Bone

I'm very sorry for your loss, Pbee. Max looks very, very much like the dog I had growing up. In fact I have a similar photo of when she was gray and elderly like Max in your photo.

She was a stray hanging around begging food at the summer camp I attended in 5th grade and I brought her home. We had her until she was 15 and I was out of college. Due to her humble beginnings, we called her Bummer. She was a great dog and only bit a few people who clearly deserved it.

During Bummer's later years, my grandma, who was confined to a wheelchair, lived with us. One day, my grandma and Bummer were the only ones at home. Some man knocked at the door and when he didn't get an answer, he opened the door to walk in, even though he saw and heard the barking dog on the other side of the door. So Bummer gave him a chomp in the leg. She got many treats and pets that night! :D
