Hi everybody,
Been off the boards for a while. A combination of events:
Mainly due to the current recession I lost my job (made repugnant er! redundant again) Fifth time it's happened. We already had our house on the market as we were hoping to move nearer my wife's business location back to good old Cirencester. Those plans scuppered by my redundancy and the fact that Trish's business went tits up too. Worrying time for us!!
Managed to get an offer on the house around the time I was fired then I got offered a new job in Malvern Worcestershire. We then decided what the hell lets relocate to the Malvern area. Found a great house in a village called Leigh Sinton 3 miles outside Malvern. Beautiful area to live in. Haven't checked out where the nearest guitar shop is though!
Anyway thought I'd let you all know. I'm still going to attend open mics, just have to travel a bit further. I'll probably go tonight even though practice has been seriously curtailed over the past two weeks. So see you there Rodders maybe. ( It's ok he knows I've moved!)
Cheers,
Chris
The guitar is all right John but you'll never make a living out of it! (John Lennon's Aunt Mimi)
Haven't checked out where the nearest guitar shop is though!
What, I thought that was the #1 priority to check before relocating!? :P
Good to see you back. Glad you've found new work. 8)

Really sorry to hear about all of this, It's so tough at the moment but well done on getting a new job. Anyway if you cant find a decent local shop your under an hour away from PMT in Birmingham, well worth a trip out to.
Congrats on the move, and the new job....you can't keep a good man down, eh! Looks a nice area, too.
Looking at the maps for the area, you're still handily placed - you've moved, what, about 20 miles or so? - for the open mics. Still handily placed off the M5 as well, if I can ever get the money together for a decent car......
:D :D :D

hello there, before relocating you have to check first, if the place that you're moving is safe, you also have to be sure that you really want the place, make sure also that you are welling to adjust to you're new environment.
I hope the move works for you :D We just moved for the last time (I hope). Plenty of hospitals in the greater Greenville area, although I really like my current job :D
