What a shame. Multi-talented. I first knew of him on the Johnny Carson show a very long time ago. He did his solo of O Holy Night. I finally found the Christmas album of his that has it. It still gives me goose bumps. He also had a cameo on Designing Women as a doctor who gave comfort and advice to Julia Sugarbaker. Another loss for us. :(

It is difficult to answer when one does not understand the question.

rip to a bona fide guitar icon and one of my all time heroes. I am very sad about this. A true legend and a huge loss to the guitar world, and only 58. Rip gary

Very sad news indeed. A great guitarist, whether playing rock or blues.

RIP Gary.

RIP Gary.

I'm turning up the overdrive today in his honor. Wish I had his vibrato.

Well, this certainly bites. I could not stand that face he made, but everything I've ever heard from him was great. I think I'll spend some QT with my LP and play some "Still got The blues (For You)". Perhaps a link to share with everyone from my You tube play list. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4O_YMLDvvnw

R.I.P. Gary!

Thanks for the link Roy.

Since I heard this morning "Still Got The Blues" has been stuck in my head.
