Looking back over the whole thread, Alan Green mentioned early on that the last week in August wasn't good - and Misanthrope isn't keen on the first two weeks.....
So how about aiming for Friday the 15th? As in travel Friday, meet up for drinks and introductions all around friday night, jam all day Saturday, travel home Sunday?
And I'll go check the hotel out tomorrow......

I can't plan that much forward so whichever is fine with me.
