Oh, there's lots of weirdness around here, that's why I like it so much... No problems logging in though, and everything looks fine from here. 8)

Everything seems OK so far......fingers crossed!

At least this upgrade I haven't disappeared into cyberspace....and as for weirdness, well Steinar beat me to the punch, but yep, there's definitely enough weirdness to go around with a bit left over.

Well, I just logged in for the first time, so there's some weirdness on the forums now. :D

I was having withdrawals, glad everything is back up. A big thanks to everyone involved, you don't know how much your work on this site is appreciated.

I'll second that, but they SHOULD know how much we appreciate their hard work - we've told 'em often enough!

It's weird to see the pages load so fast!

Looking good from here. :D

Just one small problem though. I almost hate to mention it, but.....

....it does look very much like the same tatty old bunch of posters that we had before. Can we get some upgrades as well please Nick? I think you said that the new server "will be faster, shinier, have more memory". There's a few of us around here who are getting to the "slower, shabbier, more forgetful" end of the deal, so your quotes for upgrading the membership to match the site would be most welcome...

Cheers,

Chris

How would we know???

Falling in love is like learning to play the guitar; first you learn to follow the rules, then you learn to play with your heart.

Good point. Many of us have never experienced 'normal'. We'd need to see a sample, and get some recognition training.

To dream the impossible dream
To fight the unbeatable foe
To bear with unbearable sorrow
To run where the brave dare not go
To right the unrightable wrong
To love pure and chaste from afar
To try when your arms are too weary
To reach the unreachable star

This is my quest
To follow that star
No matter how hopeless
No matter how far

To fight for the right
Without question or pause
To be willing to march into Hell
For a heavenly cause

And I know if I'll only be true
To this glorious quest
That my heart will lie peaceful and calm
When I'm laid to my rest

And the world will be better for this
That one man, scorned and covered with scars
Still strove with his last ounce of courage
To reach the unreachable star.................

Yep, you're definitely asking for the impossible there, Nick!
