Have a good one, Cowgirl. Another Telecaster player, if I remember correctly? I shall have a drink in your honour later. (As well as the few I shall have in my own honour.....!)

Hmmm - if June 12th were a grape - the '57 vintage would make a smoky, old-fashioned red wine with lots of taste, whereas the '69 vintage would make a fresh, sparkling - though with sultry overtones - crisp white. With lots of taste - goes without saying!

:D :D :D

Awww....thanks everyone!

But...um...it isn't even remotely close to my birthday.
My birthday is December 6, lol so I have a few more months before the big 39. Not really sure how this happened...oh wait...the date must be the way you Europeans do it. That would make it 6/12 instead of 12/6. Silly American me putting the month first.

I always wanted a birthday that wasn't close to Christmas though so maybe I will just officially change it to today.

Vic, you can still have those drinks. I'll have a couple for you as well, that wine sounds good! Happy Birthday, you don't look a day over 50. :P

Thanks Trev for this and the pm. :D

All my life I wanted to be somebody. Now I see I should have been more specific.

That just means it is your half birthday!

And that is twice as much fun...

I know what you mean! My little sister's birthday is Dec. 23rd! That poor girl never had a birthday until she got married. Her mother-in-law felt sorry for her so she started throwing her surprise parties in July or August or any month that wasn't December! :D She finally got birthday gifts wrapped in birthday paper instead of Christmas paper!

Ummm, that'd be me - UCG's a lot younger than that. I believe '56 was quite a reasonable vintage, though, Ric?
