And the Carousel Lounge, where we played our previous gigs, called us up today and offered us a spot on Saturday night and a regular monthly spot, starting on January 24th!
Turns out the bartender really likes us and recommended us to the lady who books shows for the club. Excellent lesson--when you're playing at a bar, treat the bartender right! Our singer Reed, calls him by name during the shows, reminds people to buy beers and tip the staff, that sort of thing. It pays off and helps build up community and friendships.
