... but we're ready to play!

This is a much nicer space to jam in than we had before. You should see the pile of boxes behind me. :o

From the left:

Ben's Epi LP
My P-bass
Laura's Epi LP-100
Laura's Strat
Laura's Guild D-15

finally sold the kids and reappropriated their (prospective) space, eh?

... and you kept their instruments.

Actually, it's leftovers from a new hardwood floor. Note that there is no more room, so that we have to sell one before we buy another.

Nick - any time. Amtrak to Wilmington.

Greg - J's still home to provide flute and sax when needed. She keeps introducing us to newer music.

It won't really be a studio until we get some recording equipment. Dear Santa...

That does look like a pretty good space. Enjoy!

I have a better suggestion/solution. Get more floor boards and expand. :)

Very nice indeed. Guess you can't call that the "man cave" though since Laura has most of the toys!?
Trying to make out the poster above the keyboard. What is it?

That was our first big music festival which we "produced" in Newtown CT in 1992. We had 2 student bands and 5 local pros, including a bluegrass and a couple rock bands. A bunch of high school kids did much of the leg work, a local electrician installed an outdoor power box, the lumber yard gave us a flat bed truck for a stage, and other locals kicked in as well. A real community effort. Unfortunately, we got rained out, so the attendance was very low, but we had fun anyway.

Also note the large whiteboard leaning against the keyboard. A very important tool for jamming.
