Just scored tickets to see Bruce Springsteen at the United Center in Chicago on Oct. 21st. Logged on at exactly 11am and still only scored the nosebleed seats.
I don't know what you have to do to get the good seats off ticketmaster!
Still, I'm happy to have gotten tickets at all! I'm a longtime fan!

That should be a great show. Congrats & have fun with The Boss! :D 8)

"The only way I know that guarantees no mistakes is not to play and that's simply not an option". David Hodge
I don't know what you have to do to get the good seats off ticketmaster!
1) know someone
2) have season tickets to the sporting team who is the major tenant of the stadium (often allows you to buy your usual seats 1 day early)
3) be a radio station/record label
4) win tickets from #3
I wrapped a newspaper ’round my head
So I looked like I was deep
springsteen puts on a GREAT show. it's true that some seats are better than others, but the important thing is to be there.
Cool,
I hear both Nils Lofgren and Little Steven are going to be on this tour
plus Bruce that will make for some awesome guitar playing.
Just a small side note Clarence and I share the same birthday 1/11
How cool is that?

I would say, "have a good time, Kathy," but that's somewhat redundant - a good time is mandatory at Springsteen concerts. I had the chance to see him back in '85 at Slane Castle in Ireland - a mate had a spare ticket, and his family would have put us up for a couple of days, all I had to find was £20 for travelling costs and some spending money - unfortunately, I was out of work at the time and couldn't afford it. Still never seen the Boss!
But I have still got the 75-85 live album - three vinyl records, and I've got it backed up on cassette! Maybe it's time I joined the technological age, and transferred them to CD......
Ah heck, have a GREAT time Kathy - I know you WILL!
:D :D :D

"Sometimes the beauty of music can help us all find strength to deal with all the curves life can throw us." (D. Hodge.)
Let us know how it goes!
"Nothing...can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts."
After a lot of recommendations, I'm seriusly thinking on assist to the concert here. If so, we will comment them!
Have fun!

Happy for you, and totally green with envy too.
Have a good night.
Cheers,
Chris

Our local progressive station has been playing stuff from the new "Live in Dublin" album. Sounds great 8)
Congrats, Kat.
Be sure to take earplugs.

I've had a lot of sobering thoughts in my time.
It was them that turned me to drink.
