I'm posting this BT (Cortez the Killer). Its pretty short, about 1:49 so you can get your mojo going. Instead of the usual jam, I want every one to play for the duration of the BT and turn it in to me and I will post them all . In about 3 weeks Lets say ...04/01/07 I will post a poll so every one can vote on their favorite version. The winner will get bragging rights ( no prize  ) I just thought this might be fun. I would like to encourage every one to participate , its not about who is the best player, just about learning :D So have fun!!

Many thanks, smokingdog.

I'm game

One question, You wrote the deadline for submission as "04/01/17"
So do we have three weeks or ten years to complete this?

That's plenty of time to rehearse.
I should have my chops up to par to play on that BT by then.

I'll see if I can get something done within the time frame. I'm in the process of getting ready to move at the end of the month though, so if I don't get time to complete mine, don't wait up.

Cool idea Ken. One request, can we get another jam going with the same concept just a different track for those of us that don't like the blues.

OWA: Why not set it up yourself? You don't need special permission to start anything here, as far as I know. :D

OWA--hunt down a backing track you like and go for it! There are hungry jammers out there in need of hosts, and it's not too hard to do.

Just as a point of interest, is this BT really blues? To me, it sounds more like Pink Floyd or something similar....
