I just stuck it in there, and it sounded sweet!
Oh, that's great! I was really worried how it would sound..
(The funny thing is, it's really about the only thing I've learned so far to play on bass; my teacher showed it to me on the one bass lesson we've had because he knows I am into blues, and I've now put that to good use!)

Hey!
Just mixed and uploaded the tune with Vink's bass added. Sounds pretty good to me!

Maybe it's just my cheap speakers, but I can't really hear the bass sections. I can hear alittle bit around 2:30-3:00, but that's about it. Maybe you can remix it with the bass sections more up front? Also, who's playing what?

No, your speakers are perfect, lol. So far Vink is the only one who sent me anything (hint, hint), but I thought I'd put what I have up anyhow.
0:07-0:42 - Sleutelbos
0:43-1:17 - gnease
1:18-1:53 - slejhamer
1:54-2:29 - smokindog
2:30-3:05 - vink - DONE
3:05-3:50 - jrcri
Plus, I'm still getting used to mixing on Audition ;)
Ahh, I see!

It's embarassing -- I created a little bass line for this a while back. Just need to record before Sun morning. If I don't, I will cede my spot, as I'm heading to Asia for a week and a half

Nah don't worry, really, and don't rush it at this point. When you can do it, do it - all in fun.
But what about you other guys?!
Just kiddin' :)
LOL; I still haven't sat down to record the darned thing. If I could do it right now at work, I would ...
Vink - nicely done!
"Everybody got to elevate from the norm."
I'll Work on it tonight
We may not have power for a day or so in our area, so no need to rush. Some news stations are saying it may be up to 3 days before power is completely restored in the affected parts of Los Angeles.
Acoustic guitar time!!!

Or, time to go participate in some riots near the music stores and make some new acquisitions

Ha!
Actually, what I'd really like, none of the stores carry.
Plus, Dunlop doesn't make it, so that's why the stores don't carry it. If there was a riot, I'd probably just wind up sitting back and watching the columns of smoke rising into the sky like the last time. With the copters flying low overhead, and some of those being Hueys, it looked and sounded just like the beach scene from Apocalypse Now. ;)
Got something recorded before leaving the states. I'll send it in a day or so after getting a chance to check it, mp3 it and ...

QL!
Hi Guys
I have done a recording of myself playing my new Bass Guitar over the complete Bassin Blues backing track that I want some critics on.
Is it ok if I but up on my SoundClic site or should I email the 3.5 MB .mp3 file to some of you.
I don´t want to mess up your collaboration jam.
