Hi Al

Wich Magix SW do you use ? Samplitude V8 SE ?
I am using that and have also got it as a freebie in computer music paper.
I have used Samplitude V8 SE for mixdowns with many tracks, It has a limitation of 48 tracks.
/Kalle
PS. I would use Kristal Audio Engine http://www.kreatives.org/kristal/ or Reaper http://www.cockos.com/reaper/ instead of audacity as they support Asio2 audio drivers .
Kristal is free and Reaper is in fact free as it can be used without problems after the evaulation period.
