gawd, people nowadays.....get you to participate in a jam, and then spend days orchestrating their part once all the other submissions have been made....................

(guess my part's gonna get edited out-of-sync for saying that)

Haven't forgotten about you guys and gals! I'm hoping to have time to finish up my part this week.

The Dog is still working on his part as well (or he hasn't sent it to me yet).

I may go ahead and send out a demo of what I do have so you guys can at least check your parts while we are wrapping everything up.

"work on it"??? I assumed 'jam' meant load it into your DAW, hit record and hope you don't hit too many clangers. :?

apologies for my part, guys.

No, no, I work on my 45 seconds for hours each night, perfecting each measure, until it rivals all others! :P

Actually, I loop my section, hit record and keep playing until I get a part that resembles music. Then I water it down with as many post effects as I can to hide my lack of talent! Then I delete it the next day when I'm sober. I also try to have my part down before even listening to everyones parts because I don't want it flavoring my playing.

I just haven't had a lot of time the past few weeks. I almost thought about dropping out so as to not hold it up, but then I remembered that there should be no rush to these things. Some people get theirs done the evening after the jam starts, others need more time. I'm cool with that. 8)

That's kewl, I think I'm just feelin a lil nervous since its my first jam, and I had horrible garageband-tone, lol.

I'm looking forward to hearing your 45 second, 769-track guitar orchestra. With triangle accompaniment.

No worries! You did great! I just hope I got it lined up right!

You forgot the kazoo!

I'm guessing we'll have this thing wrapped up this weekend (right Dog? ). I'll be honest, I've been having some trouble coming up with something for this jam. That won't stop me from eventually just throwing in the towel and using the "best" take I have. Not sure why I'm having troubles though. :?:

I have PM'ed a demo to those of you who have gotten their parts done.

I'm embarrassed to say that I'm still not done with my part. Not enough time in the day for all of my hobbies and projects. The wife has had me working on the house as of late.

Are we still working on this jam!? :P

Usually it's the jam host that says this but, take your time Jason, there's no rush.

Now, the dog's part on the other hand is way past the deadline... what up wit dat!? :P

I've been on vacation since the 3rd. Just got back in tonight.

I've not heard from everyone regarding the demo mix and still no word from the Dog. ;-)
