Welcome to GN :D I'm told that country music is popular in some parts of the Philippines.Check out some old Hank Williams SR.
Its always good to play outside of your box :D I hated Country music when I was a kid, then I got in a band when I was 14 with this guy who was raised on hank and lefty( Dale Moore) and he was awesome. I don't like the new country much, but the old stuff is great...kinda like the blues for old white guys :lol: In-fact it is directly related to the blues IMHO..even uses the same 3 or 4 chords :twisted: :lol:
