Well I finally got around to capturing something to that first jam track you made, smokindog. I got a little experimental with this one. I did jam to it a whole lot more times, broke my strings beating the shite out of my wammy and then just took a while to get back to recording. Now it is here.

I kind of like it, hows bout you?

Guess we should decide what forum this kind of stuff goes into. The admins still never responded to my idea for a forum devoted to track swapping. Oh, well.

So does anyone else want to take a turn passing around a jam track?

Oh, btw the track is on my soundclick site:

I'm sure you can find which one it is :P

Hey! I didn't say "poop"! "Poop" is a dirty word. I said shite.

That is $5000 tone there man; you better damn well love it :P

No, not kidding. Soldano SLO 100, Soldano 4x12 cab...G&L tribute legacy. I have about $2000 left to pay on it.

I think the strings also played a big part. They are the Dean Markley 12 guage jazz set. I use the bridge pickup, cranked the bass tone knob up and the trebble down.

I should take a picture of my new setup :P

I got the songs. They sound pretty good. How did you get the midi to sound like real instruments? My midi stuff sounds like midi.

That you send it thing is awsome, how do they make money doing that for free :?: I got the split file -THANKS, I'll get to work on it ASAP

I found a free ware program called Anvil studio, with this I can find a midi i like on the net and take out every thing but the parts i want (the drum track and bass track). If i dont like the bass sound i can choose from different bass sounds like acustic, fretless, fingerpicked, slap, ect. you cant change the drums but you can adjust the balance between the base and drums. Then i put it on cassette tape ( I use my 424 ) or you can use audacity (use the "what-u-hear tab") You can adjust the EQ to make it sound better also. with the audacity you can boost the bass and ad some compresion to the bass. then you add your vocal, guitars, keyboard, ect and you got a band  8) 8) -I,m thinking of geting something like band in the box and or a midi keyboard.
