Hey Jason & Kalle, I'll form a team with you guys if you're interested. I can do the mixing as well. You can pick your slots too & I'll take what's left.

Dan

1-start-1:36
2-1:36-3:09
3-3:09-end

Count me in! Can I have the first spot?

Jason

1, If anyone cant get hold of a BT PM me and I will post a link on a sound click site or something :D
2. Feel free to recruit your own team. you can PM anyone you like that has not done this in a while and is still an active member of GN. It is after all a "Invitational Jam"
3. After you are done, E-mail me your mp3 and I will post it on the GN jam site and then send you a link so that YOU can post it on Hear Here. (I'll Post a thread for this when the time comes).
4, No reason anyone cant be in more than one team :!:

Thats as far forward as I can think right now, the brain is starting to hurt a bit  Any suggestions are welcome

If there's anyone like me with close to zero soloing skills who would like to do a "beginner" level team, let me know. I do okay with rhythm stuff and Byrdsy arpeggios, but coming up with a solo is another story. But I'd like to take the leap ... anyone else?

Hi Dan
I ´l take 2nd slot.

Kalle

PS we could be more than 3 guitars on this song , adding a distorded rythm guitar as background to the lead guitars , as Led Zeppelin does in "Since I've been loving you". If you do´t have this recording send me an email.

Tanglewood TW28STE (Shadow P7 EQ) acoustic
Yamaha RGX 320FZ electric guitar/Egnater Tweaker 15 amp.
Yamaha RBX 270 bass/Laney DB 150 amp.

If you don't find anyone to jam with in the next few days or so PM me and we will figure something out. Don't worry about your soloing skills, this is about learning a thing or two and having fun :D

I've got a question regarding the backing track.
I am unsure what part of the song is represented.
I am unsure of the changes.
does the BT start at the beginning?
I listen to the original song and can follow along, but the BT has me a bit lost.
dog. give me some perspective.
thanks.

Its more of a "Since I've been loving You" TYPE of BT. It's not the same chord progression. You should be able to use Cm pentatonic scales. I don't really know what chord progression is, I just noodled around till I got something that worked(at least to my ear) I also put a capo on the 3rd fret and played around the Am shape (Cm).

woof. ok. that is what I sensed.
there are noodle zones (without capo) around the third and fifth frets, the eight ,twelfth frets, the fifteenth and seventeenth frets.
Cm, Fm, Gm, Ab are a few chords that work.

allright. I will play around and try to get my fingers to work.
thanks.

Likewise

Actually I just laid down my safety track. That's the one that I"ll use if
nothing better comes to me or I don't have time to redo it.
