Well, it looks like team one is still waiting on Paul Boone, team two is waiting on almann, and team three is waiting on crank-n-jam.

Too bad there isn't a separate "sticky" thread to keep track of everyone's progress.

Take your time Jason. Smokindog is bringing in a ringer to his team, so we've gotta knock it out of the park! (I'll leave that up to you & Kalle! ).

It doesn't look like almann has been around for awhile. I know Vic Lewis was interested in taking a part... maybe someone should see if almann is still in, or if Vic wants to take over?

Question for you folks experienced with recording in Audacity: I was noodling over the backing track for practice, and recording it in Audacity. Signal chain: guitar -> modeler pedalboard > computer line in, and I used headphones attached to the pedalboard to monitor.

Everything sounded okay while I was playing (well, except for my playing  ), but when I played it back, it sounded like my newly recorded track was too slow and a lower pitch. Kinda like a 45rpm record played at 33rpm ... maybe not that bad but still very obviously "off."

Any ideas on how to make this work better? Is this probably a computer problem (it has one of those generic on-board sound cards)? Or something else within audacity?

i have the same problem with audacity and posted a similar question last year, the general response was that it was my soundcard that needed changing, or that i needed to get an external soundcard to deal with the latency.

however, my Laptop belongs to the school i work for, so i am not allowed to "upgrade" it - so i didnt get chance to give it a go.

Thanks for the reply; that's about what I suspected.
