anyway - when is the deadline for this?? im working on something (badly) but i wont be able to record it for a day or two.

mine should arrive this weekend, i am having trouble recording without getting a load of background noise. i have a freind who seems to be able to record okay im gonna hijack his house on sat and get it done. any chance you could pm me an address i need to send the final version to?? thanks

I went and posted a version with a sax solo on my myspace page....if you'd like a version with the empty verses just let me know and I'll email it to you.

Hi Nick,

Great song. Terrific voice too. Really excellent all round job. Colour me bright green... :mrgreen:

I've never actually attempted to play lead guitar (strictly a chord hacker...), so I won't be able to muster a competition standard entry, but I'm going to use the track to give it a shot, if that's OK. I managed to get both versions (Kompoz and myspace) without an account at either, simply by firing up Audacity while they played, and then recording it. Worked fine. It felt slightly sinful, so if that's wicked or against some rules, please delete that comment. :shock:

If I do come up with something I'll post it, but the chance of that happening is in the range from zero to microscopically slender. But I do appreciate the chance to give it a try with something of that quality.
