If anyone needs help feel free to ask one of us "old timers" Thats a nice Backing track, I was thinking of posting it again myself ::lol: In fact I think this will be the third time its been used. 8) have fun with it :D I moved the thread to the "online jams and collaborations" section. I also have a sticky in that section that may help.

https://www.guitarnoise.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=18870

One thing I have found that is that even though no one knows what the others are playing ( except the host) it ALWAYS fits together. Thats the fun part( it's like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are going to get") Its also cool that I can play with other guitarists that are far better than I am, and at the same time someone who is a beginner can also join in the fun. --the dog

If you do feel the need to post it up again I'll be up for a shot at this one. Didn't log on yesterday so I missed this thread - had the flu - otherwise I'd have been straight in. This is exactly the sort of thing I'm currently working on with my guitar teacher.

Cringe, Vink already grabbed spot two. Third and fourth spots are available.

Send your files to me (jason at the-masseys.com).

Dog, thanks! I may need your help as well as Bish's. Can you just play my part and we can all pretend it's me?

Sorry you missed out on this round chuckster! Depending on how this one turns out, I may do some more.

Alright, so this is what I've got:

:00 - :59 = Ivan
:59 - 1:52 = Vink
1:52 - 3:16 = Cringe
3:16 - 4:08 = Me

Correct? Do those break points sound good?

Yeah. I've not done this, but if it works better for them, then it'll probably work better for me. :)

I'll probably take about a week .. I've got it all imported and set up, but I am not that fast. Hope that's ok.

Take however long you need. I'm sure we've all got busy schedules and I'm not in any hurry. This is the first time I've attempted anything like this myself, so I'm sure it will not only take me some time to get something recorded, but also some time to get the tracks put together.

I've been messing around this morning and this is going to be fun! I'm not sure if I'm in the right key though. What key do you guys think it is in?

You asked for the key and progression of this song.
You have probably already found out, but I tested with a G Minor pentatontic scale and it worked more or less all over the song.
But the progression is not a standard 12 bar 3 chord blues progression, I have not yet found out the chords.
